Day 152 and painting

I’ve spent most of my time today finishing off my submission to the Royal Academy’s (www.royalacademy.org.uk) summer exhibition. And by submission, I mean my charitable donation as it is only a slim chance that I will be accepted (having produced  two of the approximately 12,000 that go past the selection committee each year). Anyway, deadlines are looming and I am still not overly happy with it. It needs a little something extra but I need a think about what that extra is.

In the interim, here are a couple of elephants.

  1. I like your blue line elephants- and thank you for visiting my site- storydoors.com
I am always hesitant to comment on others art, as I am always nervous about showing my own. I liked the elephant sketch right away and that is a good thing. I will explore more of your site tomorrow as it is getting late.
    Bye. “eightdecades”
